4.2 PIMES INTRINSICS
The Configuration involves all the rules found in the LHS of "Evaluation_of_Features". These rules initially involve obtaining the name of the part to be evaluated and retrieving information about that part. An object representing that part is dynamically created within Nexpert Object, as are its features, including bosses and ribs.
A part has a particular material code associated with it. And certain manufacturing constraints are associated with the material. As such, specific material information is loaded in as an object from a material database, and more general information about the material is loaded in from a plastic database.
The final configuration requires that a connection be made between the object part and its object features and the material object, so that material information may be freely imparted onto the features.
