4.2 PIMES INTRINSICS
The feature critiquing process consists of three parts. The first part is the configuration, where the specified part and its features are dynamically retrieved into the Nexpert Object environment. The second part is known as Checklisting, where an appraisal is made of the part and its features. During the appraisal, a checklist of possible feature problems, is marked off for later confirmation or diagnosis generation. Diagnosis generation is the point at which the checklists are examined and critique messages are prepared for use outside of the PIMES program.
